This is me.

spiritual teacher

It was the day before my life was about to explode with excitement and trepidation, love and fear, and a ginormous amount of learning!!!

The words “Honey you got two babies in there.” became the impetus for my ultimate freedom. I believe in SYNCHRONICITY – that all-knowing and wholehearted belief that life is exactly as it should be. Unexpectedly finding out I was having twins led to the unfolding of my life. These babes were meant to be.

The tears, the snot crying, the scared moments resulted in me, with my fists in knots ready for a rumble, trusting in a higher form of consciousness and a much better way of living life. I believe our most sacred classroom is our own life and parenting has a way of forcing the truth of who we are, growth, and all kinds of lessons to be learned.

Jonathan Swift says, “Vision is the Art of Seeing the Invisible.”  This vision begins and ends in the heart. Showing up in our own life is the ultimate learning for how to love authentically.

I support real-life learning. It took a ski accident to teach me the importance of letting go AND the ultimate power in surrendering to resistance.

As I shared the ski adventure with my children, I noticed each run came with a tightening in my chest and a fear that drove me wild that day.  The accident resulted in surgery to repair a triple triad in the knee and 8 months of intense and VERY painful therapy.

There are two basic motivating forces: Fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement and acceptance.
— John Lennon

Fear had catapulted me to an unknown identity and that ski accident taught me the value of an impact – my way of saying I learned a great deal.

I know asking for help is more a sign of strength not weakness.

And those 8 months required me to ask for lots of help with cooking, cleaning, driving, etc.  I began to notice more about less and those details taught me the most about love.

I think no is very empowering.

My focus HAD to be on the knee and doing the hard work to get it better.  I had to say NO to so many things that just could not be done.  I paid attention to how good it felt to say NO for the right reasons.

I believe the most painful moments can teach us who we really are.

Saying YES to what mattered allowed me to align my intentions with loving choices (these are the kind that feel good in your gut), allowed me to see with my eyes a world of self - compassion, and allowed me to lean into less in order to feel more of what mattered.

I love reading books, shopping, coffee shops and chatting it up with friends. I love meeting people and visiting new places. And I love learning.

And I’d love for you to know…. You matter. You are worthy. Our life is a transformational journey of the presence of remembering.

I wish for you the world! I hope for you to know, believe and see you in the world!

P.S. I’ve been featured on a podcast!

In this episode, you’ll hear me talk about my new book COMING HOME: A LOVE STORY. The book details the spiritual awakening that led to my own personal healing transformation, inspiring me to work as an Intuitive Healer and Spiritual Teacher.
